Data deletion

1. Send an email to [email protected] with the subject “Delete my data”.
2. Send it from the email address you used with Ostorya (waitlist, account or Google sign-in). If you can’t, include the WhatsApp number you gave us so we can find your data.
3. Say what you want deleted: your waitlist entry, your Ostorya account and shops, or both.

Email a deletion request

• Waitlist: your email, WhatsApp number, country, language, Google account ID and the campaign information stored with your entry.
• Account: your profile and sign-in data, your shops and everything in them (products, images, themes, theme assistant history, orders and customer records), unless you only want one shop removed.
• Data we must keep by law (for example invoices for paid credits) is kept only for the required period and then deleted.

We confirm by email that we received your request, delete the data within 30 days, and email you again when it is done. Backups are overwritten within the following 30 days.

If you came to Ostorya from a Facebook or Instagram ad, Meta keeps its own records of your ad activity. You can review and remove off-Facebook activity and connected apps in your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy → Settings → Your activity off Meta technologies, and Apps and websites). If you used “Continue with Google”, you can remove Ostorya’s access in your Google account (Security → Your connections to third-party apps & services). Removing that access does not delete the data we hold: send us the request above for that.

If you ordered from a shop built on Ostorya, that shop decides about your order data. Contact the shop first; if you can’t reach them, write to [email protected] with the shop’s address (for example name.ostorya.com) and your phone number, and we will pass your request on and help them complete it.
