Terms of service

Ostorya is opening in stages. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access or a date. Features marked “soon” or “preview” may change, and some may not be available in every country.

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract for your business. Give accurate information, keep your password private and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else used your account. You are responsible for what happens in your account, including what your team members do.

• You decide what you sell, at what price, and how you deliver. You are the seller to your customers, not Ostorya.
• Sell only products you are allowed to sell, describe them honestly, and respect consumer, tax and advertising rules where you sell.
• You are responsible for your customers’ personal data that your shop collects, and for having a lawful reason to contact them (for example by phone or WhatsApp).
• Cash on delivery, delivery companies and refunds are between you, your delivery companies and your customers. Ostorya helps you track them but does not collect or hold that money.

• Sell illegal, counterfeit or dangerous goods, or anything that breaks the policies of the platforms you advertise on.
• Send spam, mislead customers (for example with fake reviews, fake stock levels or fake countdowns), or collect data you are not allowed to.
• Try to break, overload, scrape or get around the security of the Service, or access another shop’s data.
• Resell or copy the Service without our written permission.

We may suspend shops or accounts that do these things, and remove content that does.

Some features use AI (for example the theme assistant). Their results can be wrong or unsuitable. Check them before you publish; you are responsible for what your shop shows. Changes made by the theme assistant can be undone from its history.

Ostorya is paid with prepaid credits in your account’s wallet (1 credit = US$0.01), bought by card through Stripe. Credits never expire and work for every store of your account.

• Order fee: each store gets 100 orders free every calendar month (in the store’s time zone). Each further order that month uses 2 credits (US$0.02), and a store never uses more than 2,900 credits (US$29) for order fees in a month. Every order received counts (from your shop, WhatsApp, the API or entered by hand); orders imported from another platform don’t.
• Never blocked: orders are never refused for a low balance. Your balance can go below zero; paid extras pause until you add credits, and a negative balance must be settled.
• AI extras use credits only when you choose them; the price is shown before you start.
• No refunds: credit purchases are final (they never expire); see the refund policy for billing errors. We may change prices with 30 days’ notice; credits already bought keep their value.

Your products, images, texts and data stay yours. You let us host, copy and display them only as needed to run your shop and the Service. Ostorya, its software, themes and brand belong to WEB UNIVERS LLC; you may use the themes for your shop on Ostorya.

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or stop features; if we stop the Service, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

The Service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, WEB UNIVERS LLC is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, refused deliveries or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You can stop using Ostorya and ask us to close your account at any time (see data deletion). We may close accounts that break these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue (for example 7, 9 and 11) continue after the account ends.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States. Before going to court, write to us at [email protected] and we will try to settle the issue within 30 days. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the law where you live.
